Overview: This was the first project I'd worked on remotely, ie down the wires from London to LA and also the first time I'd worked with composer Harry Gregson-Williams. Over a period of a couple of months I uploaded endless stems, ideas, grooves and ambiences to a distant icon in the corner of my iMac. Over in LA, Harry used this material to weave the score, giving a tense urban edge.
Highlights: An amazingly effective and relentless movie. I guess "Hung Up" (DVD scene) is the best example of my involvement, although I'm spread throughout this one. A ringing phone has to be answered…
